  1. I would put money on it being a faulty stereo amplifier, which is located in the right hand rear quarter panel. VArious other circuits run through this too, like the alarm system. I had this intermittent problem for about two years, until it was properly diagnosed by a good auto electrician, replaced, and never a flicker of a problem since.
  2. Yes, agree with the above - nothing to worry about. You might hear a whistle from it as well for a couple of minutes after switching off the engine.
  3. I'd put money on it being a fault in the stereo amplifier unit, located inside the right rear quarter panel. I had this occasional battery drain problem for about two years until I found a very competent auto electrician who diagnosed it for me. Various other things run through this unit too, like the alarm circuit, for instance. Unfortunately, these units are quite expensive, about £350, and only seem to be available from Chrysler dealers. Maybe a scrapyard can help.
