Timpson's cut me one and coded it from the last key that I had, if you don't have a key at all then I'm afraid the Stealership is the only option - Ouch!

Fob successfully reprogrammed by Timpson's - £30 so well chuffed!

Key cut and programmed at Timpson's and the guy is coming to my place to attempt to reprogram the keyfob on Monday - will report back on whether he was successful or not.......

Fuse 13 is ok - Radio is holding it's presets and boot light is working as well, all four door switches are working normally, I suspect it's a circuit problem.

Thermostat changed and now gauge reading just below half and heater now blowing nice and hot.

Does it just swing down when need to use it?

My dome light is not working either from the doors being opened or from the multi function switch and I'm seeing the word fuse intermittently in the odometer when starting the car. I have observed the following, trunk light is working, radio is holding it's presets, glove box light is working, map reading lights are working and vanity mirror lights are working, when opening all four doors it shows door open in the dash, I've changed the dome light bulb (even though the bulb looked OK) So now I need some guidance as to what I should check next to try and pin point where the problem is. http://forums.neons.org/images/smilies/dunno.gif

Timpsons can clone and cut a Key from the original - about £40 Stealership want £42 for key + £25 for pulling key code and £35 for cutting and coding! No brainer really!!!

Going to change the thermostat on Thursday, will update after change.

Did the keydance routine and pulled codes P1684 - Battery Disconnected Within Last 50 Starts and P0551 - Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. How can I clear these codes so that I can recheck at a later date to see if they reappear? Oil low pressure light now appears to be working after doing the keydance + holding the odometer reset button. (Not sure if this was the reason or not)!

Just noticed on my dash that the check engine and low oil pressure lights are not showing when turning the ignition on, can these bulbs be changed if they have failed or is it a replacement cluster?

Just bought the Neon last week so can only go on the history that came with it which does not mention anything, so assuming it never been done. Where should the needle normally be on the gauge when it's warmed up?

My temperature gauge only ever reads a maximum of about a quarter and when moving falls to just above the bottom position, heater is working OK. Not sure of why its doing this so does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause.

I only have one working fob and would like to buy another, Chrysler main dealer wants a small fortune so my question is if I buy a used one from eBay can it be successfully coded to my car (in other words can it be wiped and re coded)?
