Dickyboy

I traded in my 2007 Grand Voyager after 135K miles. It was great, took us all round Spain last year and on numerous camping trips with grand children, but like me it was creaking a bit. I now have a 2012 Grand Voyager Limited with all the bells and whistles but I am surprised to find out, via the Garmin website, that they no longer support updates to the mapping. The ideal solution would be a download of new maps, does anyone know if that is possible from some other source? Otherwise I am prepared to buy a new head unit but have been told that Chrysler used unique plugs and cameras so at this point I have not found a compatible unit. Has anyone out there cracked this? If all else fails I can continue with my plug in TomTom but this seems a bit sub-optimal. My first road trip last week took me to an address that wasn't in the system. Any help will be much appreciated.
