I’ve just mended the park lock mechanism [the little pink plastic clip spring clip broke] so wouldn’t go out of park. Followed YouTube after speaking to main dealer who wanted 300 plus pounds for complete new mechanism. Now selects drive correctly and shows all gears on dash indicator as being correct but on final turn of key will not turnover? So frustrating, is there anything anyone can suggest to check, battery is fully charged and drove home after pressing pink plastic thing to get out of park. After strip down and attaching spring to pink plastic thingy all now selects correctly. Any ideas will be welcomed
