Hi, I have had issues with the lack of sound from my radio, it will occasionally work for a few seconds then cut out as if there is a thermister or somethign causing the issue, I have reluctantly just bought a new radio and the same thing happens, so it is not the radio. All connections seem solid - no additional noises when they were moved or bent... I can only assume there is an amp somewhere, but I have pulled out the rear panels on both sides and not found an amp Please, Please before I pull all of my hair out, does anybody have any ideas Kind regards SteveO

I am thinking more amp like than cable (I have checked though), as it when it does come on is only at the start for a second, almost as if the amp cannot handle the load ? It is all the speakers not just one by the way. not a whimper out of the radio. I was told there was an amp at the back of the car, but I have had both sides out. Maybe as a diesel and a lesser model than most its not got a secondary amp / pre-amp ? I want to sell the car, but without a radio - it might be tricky, would like to fix asap. Any other ideas?

Hi Good day to you all, I have a problem with my 2007 GRand voyager CRD - UK model The radio (if it works) only comes on for a quick second and then stops again... All the info is on the screen - it simply has no sound???? Whether CD or radio - with CD you get all info and can change tracks etc but nothing on sound??? Is there an amp anywhere - as I have pulled out the rear panel on both sides at the back and found nothing... Please, please help - I am tearing my hair out here Kind regards SteveO
