  1. Hi my name is Paul and I have just become the proud owner of a Plymouth Belvedere II Convertible. Although already registered with the UK DVLA the registration document states it’s a 1962 when in fact according to the VIN No. it’s a 1966. The problem I have I want to change the registration document to reflect the correct age of the car but for me to do this the DVLA are asking me to provide acceptable evidence to support the change. One of the methods would be to obtain an extract from the manufacturer/factory records or confirmation from the manufacturer on headed paper and these documents should give the chassis number of the vehicle and the month and year of production. From the VIN No. on the car I can establish it is a 1966 and the assembly plant was St Louis, Missouri. The other method of gaining the evidence would be an extract from the appropriate Glass’s Check Book?? And apparently this can be obtained from most vehicle owner/specialist clubs. I’m not sure how to go about any of the above to gain the information and wanted to know if anyone else out there has gained such information and from what location. Thanks
