had mechanic fit new EGR valve, anyway disaster struck when he broke housing, so he put new EGR valve into old housing, leading on now have fault code P403 have tried resetting codes, no good its still there, so thoughts please, is it possible EGR valve has been damaged? have read it can be that, so maybe mechanic has messed up valve ( he did offer to replace as his fault,and i said see how it goes,but MOT due soon and need to get it sorted, thanks in advance everyone pps is driving ok, so no fault in performance
