  1. Thank you very much It is very kind of you to reply so quickly. We are not mechanics but we do have a good, trustworthy local man who worked on our previous car so it is worth us asking him. The DVD player, which is giving us sound and successfully playing CD's, responds to the remote but we have no picture on the screen. We wondered if we had missed a simple step which will turn on the screen or if this is an easy part to replace. We have been looking in to automotive locksmiths for a spare key so thank you very much!
  2. We bought a 57 reg Grand Voyager 2.8 Executive XS last week. We have now discovered that the electric passenger door on the drivers side closes using the key fob but does not lock either using the central locking button or when driving. It does lock by manually pressing down the button on the door. Reading the older threads relating to electric doors I am assuming that we might have an issue with the lock actuator? We are not sure that the garage we bought it from will accept responsibility. Is this an expensive repair/difficult to do? We have also discovered that, despite being told that the DVD worked, the screen does not! Are these easy/expensive to repair or replace? It is not vital that we have it working but I do not appreciate the garage not telling us the truth! (They told us that there were two keys before we bought it as well, only for us to discover the truth later!) I would appreciate any advice before we contact the garage.
