I'm wondering if the workshop used a transmission fluid other than ATF+4.
Suggest you have the pan dropped to see if there is any metal from a transmission failure.

Hello, can anyone tell me is the bolt pattern for the 62TE transmission the same for the 3.8l motor and the 2.8l motor?
Cheers

can anyone tell me if the problems suffered with the heating element in the 2.8 fuel filter has been carried on to the RT series.
My 2008 is behaving just as if it had a fuel leak like my 2006 had. Also where exactly is the fuel filter located. I can't see it in the front just above the starter motor as it was in the 2006. A picture of it or part number would be great too
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I'm hoping a member may be able to help me with some part numbers for the engine and transmission mounts to suit a 2013 RT 2.8 L. front, back left(transmission) right and the isolator mount
this is the transmission mount (note the offcentre mounting holes)
the back mount is bigger than the ones used in the 3.8 petrol version
any help locating a supplier would be also be appreciated

Hello
anyone able to to tell me what a 62TE trans weighs inc. torque converter?
thanks
-
Does your slight miss normally happen when you are starting off and if you remove your foot from the pedal and reapply it the miss has gone?
Are you sure the trans is slipping? Could it be a manifestation of the "miss" as the engine does not stall but just seems to "starve" for diesel?
These diesels seem to need a minimum of 650 CCA to 800 CCA and have a good charge rate or can behave in the manner I have just described.
I have seen the fuel pressure regulator valve give a similar fault.

my understanding is that it's the third relay from the left, mounted on the crossmember (in front of the radiator)

I think your 2010 Voyager has a 62TE , six speed transmission whereas the subject mentioned above was relating to a A604/41TE 4 speed box.

@Stevom
I'm hoping I don't have to do a complete recondition

thanks for the info Stevom. Can you recall the code you were getting or where the fault was in the box?

2008 3.8 with 62TE transmission just out of the blue the reverse gear quit on me. All forward gears change smoothly but will not go into reverse. Any suggestions please?

Thanks for the reply bignev.
In 2005 with the introduction of the NGC they relocated the PCM to a spot beneath the splash guard up inside the left hand mudguard. I'm wondering if they are more forgiving in the newer version with compatibility ?

found a misalignment of 5.90 degree between cam and crank sensors
-
thanks again andyb2000 your suggestion re voltage was spot on. I tested both cam and crank and came up with 4.75v. I'm now researching to find where to test at the origin and what pins I need to probe.
Do you have any suggestions?

thanks for your assistance Andyb2000
if I stick below 3-3500 RPM it runs great. I cant exceed that RPM.
the pressure regulator solenoid if I understand correctly is fuel pump mounted and I replaced the fuel pump just the other day.
After cleaning the yellow airbag connectors the SRS light is now off.
It's the cam/crank (P0016) sensors that has got me beat. The check engine light only pops up when the engine reaches normal operating temp. I can run the car up to 5000 RMP without a problem when its warming up thru all the gears and up to highway speed.
Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a 2006 Chrysler GV 3.3 petrol that has just had the flexplate replaced. I also replaced the cam and crank sensors and in attempting to start after the repair I found I had low fuel pressure so I replaced the fuel pump as well. . First start after the repair the car started perfectly and ran great. However as soon as the car warmed up I had the engine light come on with the error code P0016 again. Next the airbag light came on and so I checked all the yellow connectors I could find under the seats & below the ashtray/centre console. Cleaned all the ABS ring gear and sensors but still no joy. Can anyone tell me if there is any correlation between the airbag light and P0016?
Cheers
Help please, my 2008 2.8CRD will start and tick over but wont rev above 2000 RPM without coughing, misfiring and smoking

A cracked flexplate will cause the engine to go into "fail safe" and will not allow the engine to rev past 2K.
A check can be done thru the inspection port of the bell housing to see if the flexplate is cracked
