  1. The best way is to check it out at a Fiat,Alfa ,or Jeep franchise....as the multi-air engine is used across the FCA range.....does not have to be a Chrysler part. Ian
  2. Hi,Hej och valkommen....... I have looked at my UK handbook, read, and re-read the fuse locations......and I can't find the number plate fuse!! There is three fuse box locations,so I would look at the boot fuse box first.....If you have a 12 volt tester, then check each one. This is usually quicker and more reliable than removing each fuse and looking at the "broken" link. I would be inclined to look at the bulbs first,it could be a slightly corroded brass lamp holder....a little Emery paper to clean up might be the answer? Lycka Till..... Ian
  3. If it is the same as many Fiat models, and I suspect it is. I bought a genuine fiat part for £19.00 on E bay.....I did not risk a used part on The basis Of the fact that there is an electric switch inside that operates the central/boot locking.and that was the part that had failed.
  4. It's time to get my cam belt, water pump ,and tensioner replaced..... Can anyone recommend a reliable make? Mine is overdue,2011 1.4 turbo.(140bhp).....but on 51k miles.
  5. I would say that you have bought a Delta, that shall we say.......has been used hard.... My unmodified MA petrol 1.4 has not needed any work other than oil, filters etc at 50,000 plus miles. I think you have been a little unlucky...
  6. Wasn't there a mention that the exhaust is Bravo based? Eper is the best check for that, and I think Nello is the man to help. Ian
  7. My petrol turbo multi-air is at 50k ,2011..…..so is slightly overdue. Is it worth the risk?.....Has anyone taken a look at their removed belt,to view the state of it?..... Ian
  8. A quick poll, who has had their cam belt changed and at what mileage?... Cost may be useful as well. Ian
  9. If it is a petrol 1.4,,then it's below the turbo, with a black plastic top...purlux is the name,I think. It's the type that is paper/plastic with a rubber neoprene seal that needs to be replaced with the filter....NOT a spin on/off canister type.
  10. Yep, agree there....however,the meter can be kept for later, and used on most vehicles post 1997....ish?
  11. You could buy an OBD2 scanner from e bay..????less than £12....it will read the fault and give you a code number...
  12. Good job....well sourced, and well done..
  13. My car at 49k miles, and still the original Michelins on the rear!!!
  14. There is a button on the centre dash.....under MENU....marked ASR off....helpful? Ian
  15. In view of the snow we have experienced lately, has anyone used the Antislip Regulation fitted to the Delta?.....
  16. I followed this thread over the past year or so.....I was slightly puzzled as my filler cap has never been a problem......BUT,unlike you fellas , my Delta flap opens whether the central locking is open or shut.Just a clenched fist, and a lightish thump and it's open!
  17. Bought my Delta in April 2014(ex.FCA staff car).......has been through four MOT,s in my hands. All passed, with no advisories......could I ask for more?.... A great all-round car really.
  18. Yes, you can pull off the washer bottle neck, and I have also taken off the cross brace strut. It's a pain for sure, but I've done that change 2 or 3 times.
  19. Hi Guys...... Just thought I would jump in on this one first....... I aim to take them off (come the Spring)......clean them up, and just run a small modeling brush ,or spray, whichever is easiest.some Matt,or gloss black paint on the clear perspex lip..... The colour of my 1.4 SE is Dark Grey,so it should look ok. I have whipped them off to clean the crud a couple of times, it's fairly easy.
