Re: QUBO AIRBAG FAULT PLEASE SEE HANDBOOK plus Several Error codes 14 Jul 2017, 22:53 : Tonight I checked the wiring from the instrument cluster and managed to clear the fault. It was in the wiring on the fuse line for the cluster giving a low voltage and throwing up the fault. All clear now :-) parts used 20cm of wire soldered in place and heat shrink to cover. Clear faults, proxi alinment not needed! All great. No thanks to Fiat dealer who left me high and dry !

Checked all the earths inside the engine compartment , still not right . Any other suggestions will be gladly appreciated .

Have had the cluster checked by autotronics and contrary to glyn Hopkins who said it was the cluster that was no good and wanted almost 10000 pounds to fix, it seems that there is a problem with the car not earthing correctly . Has any one got a wiring diagram for 2.0 l diesel?especially behind dash and radio ?

Well another wasted day and more cash thrown away ? Delta chassis number not even registering on software at Autolusso . Seem to think body computer but cannot check as no computer package for checking ? Back to glyn Hopkins who think it’s a cluster issue ? Any mechanically minded people out there ?

I live in herts , went to veloces in Barnet yesterday , they soecialise Iin Alfa’s but said I would need to return as they could not identify faults as main mechanic on hols . Have emailed autolisso in Dunstable , and will see what response I get . Glyn Hopkins in St Albans want to charge 840 pounds but are not sure it will fix the problem ! Have a new battery fitted !

I do not have a stop start , and did watch him jump start vehicle , he had to use two as the first was not working ! Would I get any joy from small claims court ?

An aa sub contractor , as I left the boot ajar over night . I did complain and the motor industry arbitration said that they were not at fault, hence left with the problem . Had a sparks man look at it today and said there were faults he could not clear , only main dealer. Is there such a thing as a factory reset ?

I was complaining about the clock as I thought I had resolved the other issues, as I bought another battery and all seemed well . Now the issue is back ! Have you any ideas ? I have checked all the fuses, wiring under both seats . Cleaned with electrical spray and changed battery. For example : went to work Wednesday , Car no issues apart from clock display ! When I got in the car to come home , passenger airbag light on , red passenger light on, dial display not illuminated , and odometer flashing ! At home I undid battery and left it over night replacing the battery leads in the morning . Car back to normal apart from the clock ! On my return from work passenger airbag on again! That’s the ptoblem . Chrysler want 800 oddd pounds to replace some bits behind the dash , but they are not certain!
