  1. Hi bignev and thanks!

I've still not managed to find out anything about GV front sensors, so i'm starting to assume they are aftermarket.

I will get underneath at the weekend (weather permitting) and trace the wires back.  I'll let you know how I get on.

  2. I've recently joined the GV club 2.8crd.

I towed our single axle, fully loaded car, and caravan, so right up to the weight limit with no complaints at all.

Returned nearly 20mpg on a 200mile trip (50-60mph), which is better than what i was getting from my LR Discovery 3 (which the GV replaced  :) ).

I did however notice the temp gauge crept up a little on big hills, but then returned to normal once at the top.  Anyway, had a good 400mile + journey there and back (I'll be keeping my eye on the temp gauge).

  3. Evening all, newbie here.

I became the proud owner of a 55 plate Grand Voyager a couple of weeks ago.  Wish i'd done it sooner, unfortunately I was struck by the Land Rover bug (needed a 7 seater) which ended up costing me a small fortune on repair/maintenance.

Anyway, the Voyager is so far so good, but.....

It has fitted, I'm guessing factory fitted as it was a demo car, front parking sensors.  They look original.  I have no idea how to get them to work, I have tried everything I can think of, but there are no lights or buzzers I can see to indicate something in front of the car.

I have gone through the manual and cannot find any reference to front sensors.

    Has anybody seen these before?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
