  1. Hi bignev and thanks! I've still not managed to find out anything about GV front sensors, so i'm starting to assume they are aftermarket. I will get underneath at the weekend (weather permitting) and trace the wires back. I'll let you know how I get on.
  2. I've recently joined the GV club 2.8crd. I towed our single axle, fully loaded car, and caravan, so right up to the weight limit with no complaints at all. Returned nearly 20mpg on a 200mile trip (50-60mph), which is better than what i was getting from my LR Discovery 3 (which the GV replaced ). I did however notice the temp gauge crept up a little on big hills, but then returned to normal once at the top. Anyway, had a good 400mile + journey there and back (I'll be keeping my eye on the temp gauge).
  3. Hi Mikebh8, Check the relay for it, generally found in with the fuse box, or a separate box under the bonnet. Normally (if your lucky!) you will find another one the same, just swap them over and try your hazards. Good luck.
  4. Evening all, newbie here. I became the proud owner of a 55 plate Grand Voyager a couple of weeks ago. Wish i'd done it sooner, unfortunately I was struck by the Land Rover bug (needed a 7 seater) which ended up costing me a small fortune on repair/maintenance. Anyway, the Voyager is so far so good, but..... It has fitted, I'm guessing factory fitted as it was a demo car, front parking sensors. They look original. I have no idea how to get them to work, I have tried everything I can think of, but there are no lights or buzzers I can see to indicate something in front of the car. I have gone through the manual and cannot find any reference to front sensors. Has anybody seen these before? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
