    Hi.I've had a thicker oil change hoping it would work but it hasn't. Key dance code is p0520. It's all pointing to low pressure but like I said I've done 10,000 miles and the engine has no knocks of strange noises. Still pulls strong and starts up first time every time. Cheers. .

    Hi.thanks for the reply. When you say filter do you mean oil filter? Also forgot to mention it's a 07 2.8 diesel. The light comes on after about 20 minutes of driving and when the weather is cold it takes longer to come on.

    HI. While driving a long distance the oil pressure light came on. I had the sensor and oil pump replaced. But it made no difference. I've covered 10,000 miles since, fast motorway and slow city traffic. My question is, would the engine be toast by now if it had a low oil pressure problem? Thanks for any reply. Ant..
