alfaspud got a reaction from Haqdelta in Reverse Light Missing
Is that 12v when reverse is selected?

alfaspud reacted to MikeyRules in Lowest Price Yet?
Yeah agree re-the 100k miles, but unfortunately consumers generally still regard the 100k mark as past its sell by date. However out of date that perception might be given how micro engine tolerances and efficiencies are now. Plus how many we see with plus £250k becoming more common.
But It's not for me unfortunately as it breaks a few of my trade buying rules having once bought and sold Italian cars...
I never buy light coloured cars, as generally dark metallic's look and sell better, so Essex white handbags I'll leave to you Neil!
Secondly one too many owners, as most traders like me stop at 3 unless banger money...and 60k miles is my other threshold too.

Definitely not condensation in my case - pool of water under the plastic insert when removed
You'd want to be dogging all night, every night to generate that much moisture

ashtray for a fiver, 45euros elsewhere, useful as a coin holder
I also got a wiper motor assembly from a Bravo for £30 (from £300 but £150 elsewhere) as the spindles on mine are worn and occasionally the wipers hit each other on full speed.
And some key covers as mine look like a dog has chomped them, £20 but that much elsewhere for one.

alfaspud got a reaction from Andrewgrale in Satnav Muted
Same thing happened to me a while back
I think you need to go to the navigation screen and then press and hold the mute button for a few seconds - the mute symbol in the compass area should change

You want page 382 - if dipped beams are on, pulling stalk towards steering wheel will activate screen and headlamp washers

alfaspud got a reaction from MikeyRules in Took The Plunge....
Looks good and a bargain to boot - congratulations
Glad to hear that everything still works - my rain sensor doesn't and on cold mornings, I keep getting low pressure warnings for the tyres
Neither are a problem but the tyre pressure warnings are a pain in the hole

Best of luck with the sale and glad you'll still keep in touch - your posts are always informative to a rookie like me

Why in the name of god can I not switch to main beams with the auto light setting on the stalk?
Our German friends seem to have no problems with this type of multitasking

alfaspud got a reaction from vincey832 in Hi! I'm Back!
Yes, proud owner of a 2.0 LTD - too big a job (expensive) to change mine to a Lancia so I'm sticking with the Chrysler (I prefer the Chrysler grille too)

Hi Vincey
Excellent work going on there - keep up the good work
If you ever want rid of the Chrysler wheel centres, I'll gladly buy them - they're impossible to find anywhere
Cheers

alfaspud got a reaction from vincey832 in 2.0 At Bca Manchester
Yes, when I was looking for mine the dealer was telling prospective customers that it was an ameican car so parts would be difficult to find and expensive
Fair play to him I suppose - he probably put a few off leaving the field free to me
I take it back about the colour - it looks much better in your photos on the other thread
As the others have said, the interior is lovely
Congrats and well wear

Did you buy from a european site?
I think I read somewhere that the fascia is different for LHD cars - not sure of that particular part but someone else on here will surely know

I'll see your 155 wide body and raise you a Dedra Integrale
There was a guy over here selling one last year - I'd never seen one before but it was a good looking car - ultra rare too

alfaspud got a reaction from MikeyRules in Window Regulator Problem
Fair play gents
The autoclose/open function using the remote was only operating two of my windows (passenger front and drivers side rear)
Did the old MikeyRules reset and all good again
