Changed bith driveshafts couple of weeks ago but assumed the driver side was the same as passenger side and just slid it in, couple of taps with the persuader and job done. Problem is that now my speedo isn't working and the takeoff seems to be on that side. Should I have taken the speedo drive off before putting the driveshaft in? I thought it would just locate on its own. It's a 2002 2.5 manual.

Apologies for not introducing myself first, but I need some advice before getting stuck in as I am VERY wary of anything electrical on these things. In a nutshell, the rear light cluster and front sidelight (the tiny bulb) are all VERY dim, glowing and that's about it. I've changed bulbs to no avail, I've cleaned the connector block at the back, nothing, if I wiggle the block, the rear bottom sidelight goes out and the side/brake brightens. It looks to me like an earth issue as it's too weird to be anything else. Sooo, question is, is there an earth point on the car that gets corroded or maybe a common issue (and easy fix) for these? Any help appreciated.

Is there ANY seat configuration other than factory for an 02 Grand Voyager 2.5 diesel? I've tried putting the bench in the middle to no avail. BTW, the 2.5 diesel is AWESOME! 45mpg, lots of toys (tailgate stiff and not working) but apart from that, so much nicer than the 3.3 I had.
