  1. Hi folks, thought I'd let you know that the fault on the Voyager has been fixed. As I said the engine would just cut out if you revved above 2,500 rpm. We managed to find someone with the correct diagnostic equipment. Thanks for the info on the site for this info. In the short of it, we decided to replace the diesel fuel injectors (service exchange) . Re-seat & clean, new units fitted. Run up check for leaks etc then road test. This has returned the G V to its proper behaviour. On discussion with the tech that provided the diagnostic, he has had similar problems, even when the injectors are removed & tested they still passed checks, refitted the problem was still present. He believes that the fault sometimes is heat related ?. Hope this info helps you fellow G V owners. DIZZY
  2. Hi I know this was an ancient post, but I have a similar problem. Did you ever get to the cause? Thanks I'll be amazed with a reply. Dizzy.
  3. Hi L Plates, I've just joined this forum & saw your question. I may be asking the obvious, have you checked the G/box oil & condition?. There is a filter in the box that should be replaced periodically. If the oil smells strongly or is dark brown in colour may have a little damage in the box, or could be just needs changing. Hope this helps Dizzy.
  4. Hi, i'm Dizzy & getting Dizzier. Could anyone out there answer or guide me to a solution to; accelerate the Voyager & the engine cuts, will start up no problem. When driven easily/slowly it runs all day. If you want to overtake it cuts, doesn't splutter, cough just stops. It has had ;. new filter & primer head (some time back) pressure reg on fuel rail. I believe this problem is electrical because it cuts out, dosen't die. New input/output switches on G/box, changed throttle pedal. NO manual for this, no autodata wiring diagram. No-one seems to have any diagnostic equipment to reed this. Also no fault codes that I can see. I think its heading for the snap heap, LX CRD 2005. Can someone give me relief? thanks Dizzy.
