I have a 1999 Chrysler voyager. Is the speakers amplified or just run from the head unit?

Speedo & Rev Needle Keeps Getting Stuck

Hi I have a 1999 voyager and the needles for the speedo and rev keeps getting stuck the diesel and temp guage are up as normal just the other two. If we turn ignition off then back on it works fine. Any ideas on possible fault? Thanks
