Hi thanks for the reply. Yes, it's definately that stereo. No, it's totally dead. Even the flashing red light doesn't flash anymore. I think it is dead....unless there's a mystery fuse somewhere that only powers the stereo? Anyone got an RB3 for sale? Thanks Mike

Hi all, I've recently bought a 2006 GV and the 6 disc DVD player is dead (lights on discs 1-3 light up then 4-6) and as a result of trying to update it (see my post in 4th Gen GV forum) I'm in need of an RB3 Stereo too. Does anyone have either (or both of these items for sale). Thanks Mike

Hi all, I've recently bought a 2006 GV with the RB3 stereo / Sat nav. I didn't have a disc with it so I bought one on ebay. When the disc arrives, it came with an update CD that had to be carried out first. I did the update and the stereo rebooted. It then continued to install with the percentage rising. When it got to 100%, it said it needed to reboot agaon, counted down from 3 and switched off. It has not come on since and I can't turn it on. I have tried a soft reset (seek down, nav and eject) and I've tried disconnecting the battery for 30 mins and still nothing. Have I buggered it to the point where I need to buy another stereo or is it recoverable. Thanks in advance Mike

No offence taken, I was just in the dark. This is what I do.... Buy a car with a few faults, fix them and then sell it. It's never my intention, it just happens, and I never make money. I'll take a look into the parking sensors when I get it tomorrow. However, I don't remember seeing the display. Does that sat nav disc go in the dvd player slot or us there a drive elsewhere? Thanks.

Hi, I don't know what you mean by bought it from Edinburgh or it being a ghost. I'm sure I'm the butt of some joke but I have no idea what or why. I must say, I didn't notice the lights above the rear door and due to it failing the mot I'm not collecting it til tomorrow. I'll look at it in more detail then. Thanks Mike

Hi all, I've just bought myself a 2006 GV (unfortunately 3.3 Petrol) and wondered if anyone could help with the following issues. 1) I have no remote fob - Where's the best place to buy and get programmed 2) Sat Nav says no disc. Does anyone have one for sale, and where is the drive. LOL. 3) Parking sensors do nothing. Not a sound...Ever. That's it for now but I'm sure once I get it home on Monday this list will grow.
