hi i have just joined you guys. I bought a 2004 grand voyager 2.8 diesel in may . It had a couple of niggles when we 1st got it. When turning right going at a fair speed the engine slowed down but picked up again, Also hard acceleration going into kick down bad the engine cut out completely. after a couple of weeks the problem went away but has recently come back, cutting out easier. It has about 1006 k miles on clock. Speed on speedo correct checked with sat nav but distance less than sat nav. anyone else got the sameprob. I will renew filters as 1st thing to do FUel air and sediment. My works mechanic said that common rail fuel systems normally last about 150.000 miles is that the same for Merc 2.8engines

engine cutting out after pushing accelerator down to kick down, sometimes on hills does any one have any idea what this could be please? sometimes happens a few times a day so annoying!!
