  1. I will do some research into this bit before I go jumping in to the job. Many thanks
  2. I changed the gearbox oil when I did the hydraulics, but it is still harder than it should be to locate a gear. Reverse is awful, really have to pull that one in. Think o might just get the 3 piece kit and go for it on a fine day, just need to know if there is anything else I should change while the box is off
  3. Hi all sorry if this is in the wrong place I am completely new to this. I have got a grand voyager that came with a very stiff gearbox it was so hard to select a gear I literally had to force it in gear and the car would lurch as it went in I have replaced the master and the slave cylinder for the clutch which made it a lot better but unless the clutch pedal goes all the way to the deck as far as it can possibly be pushed then it is still hard to get a gear. I am thinking this is going to be to do with the release bearing. My question is when I come to change the 3 piece clutch is there anything else that I am needing to look at? Or replace? It's is a 53 plate diesel manual trans 2.5 crd The clutch is not slipping or burning My other query is the biting point is about and inch off the floor and then a second bite almost at the top of the pedal, is this normal or is this all linked to a dodgy release bearing pressure plate and flywheel Many thanks in advance
