Perhaps I am looking at this the wrong way. Is it more likely that I have a problem causing the high revs which are lowered when the air-con is on. If so, what is the likely cause of the high revs? Could it be an egr problem?

Hi all. The revs on my 56 Grand Voyager jump up to 1100 or so from 850 every time I turn off the climate control when at idle.They drop back to 850 if I turn it on again. Is this normal? Any help or info will be appreciated.

Hi all. I have a 56 plate Grand Voyager 3.3. Love it to bits, but, when I have had the fan or air-conditioning on and then turn it off at idle the revs rise to +/- 1100. The revs drop back to a normal idle if I turn it back on.Any ideas? Runs fine otherwise. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
