  1. A question for those 'in the know'... I've just purchased a Bilstein B14 kit to replace the wallowing suspension on my Delta. Something's clearly amiss with the ride as it's like being in a blancmange on top of a jelly on a bouncy castle... That's why the Bilstein kit was swiftly despatched. I know that the Bilsteins will be harder than the stock suspension, I'm not worried on that, I've had plenty of mad creations with coilovers before, and I'm used to a firmer ride. However, upon getting it on the ramps, my mechanic geezer noticed the 'Reactive Suspension System' (as in, the electronically controlled dampers). If I disconnect the electronics from the units, does anyone know if will it throw up any warning lights, or is it linked in to anything (such as ABS etc.)? I'd rather check on any implications before replacing than trying to find out what to do afterwards. I appreciate that this model isn't sold in the UK, but hopefully, some clever bod on here might know about the electronics, and if there will be any issue in disconnecting them. There's only 4 no. of these cars here in the UAE, and trying to find someone here who knows what they're doing is nigh on impossible, yet alone with one of these cars. I have contacted Bilstein directly, but whether they reply is a different matter. Thanks in advance for any help!
  2. Just a quick message to say hello. Currently sat here in Dubai with my Delta parked outside (in the shade, it's in the 40's here). Just thought I'd post in here (being the correct thing to do) before launching in to a question I have... No, I'm not arabic, I'm from the UK (Devon) via New Zealand (Auckland), now working here until I return down under... I'm a long time car forum person, having moderated on other car sites. First time on here though... Whilst I don't have a Chrysler, I do have a Lancia, the 1.8 di-T-Jet Delta with all the goodies... I'll throw up a photo next time I'm passing a camel! Anyway, time for my question in the Delta section...
