Finally decided to let my Grand Voyager go. Selling as spares or repair as it as a gearbox solenoid fault and needs new brakes all round. Full leather Stow'n'Go interior, a couple of age related bumps and scratches, nothing major. Just needs the brakes doing for MOT. 20" wheels with decent tyres, all rear windows dark tinted. All electrics working, side sliding doors and boot.
Pictures available on request.
Looking for offers, please be sensible.

What's your error code pal? Only because I've got a similar thing on one of mine but its a communication between TCM and PCM so cock all to do with the box itself, sort of sadly as that could have been fixed!
Hi, am getting fault code P1776 - Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in LR Position
AS said have tried fluid and filter, next option is solenoid pack unless communcation problem could cause this?

Hi, I tried to find some details online, nothing, nor on the autodata that I use.
However the gearbox should have the code on it, try to clean with a brush any dirt see if comes up.
Hope it helps.
Cheers Mike,
Weather permitting i will try at the weekend.

Does anyone know if the gearbox in my 2005 2.8CRD Auto is 41TE? Need to get a solenoid pack ordered to try and fix.

Hi All,
Changed the fluid and filter in my auto box (2.8 CRD 2005).
A fairly simple job but unfortunately it hasn't resolved my problem. Still getting error code and lim home mode.
Next job is mto look at solenoid pack. Can anyone tell me what the gearbox code is for these cars so I can price up a pack, also if anyone has already done it was it an easy (ish) job?

Hi Andy,
Thanks for that, I will give it a try later. Put the key in and turned it to on position but didn't try to start the car.
Hopefully that will sort it.

Yes, did that but no luck.

Morning all. Had my GV off the road for a couple of months while I sort some problems. Yesterday I changed the filter and fluid in the gearbox.
Put the battery back on this morning and as soon as I connect it the alarm keeps going off! Anyone got any ideas on how to rectify this?

Will do Andy, thanks.

Thanks Gordy,
i will be checking the hub and bearing as they get extra stress being as I have 20" wheels on!

Morning all,
I am going to be replacing my front pads and discs at the weekend.
The only question I have is are the calipers of the wind back type or push back?

Hi and welcome.
Are your rear parking sensors turned on? You can turn them on and off using the overhead buttons.
-
Also remember that it measures in US gallons. Still a long way out though.
-
Have changed fuel filter this morning and so far so good.
Will keep updated.

Coming home from work tonight my car just cut out in the outside Lane of the m6, bloody frightening! Got it going again after a couple of minutes and all OK till I was nearly home then it did it again. Got it started again but it went into limp home mode. When I got back did the key dance and it gave me a code p1130 which comes up as oxygen sensor problem. My question is could this be the cat has failed or the oxygen sensor itself?

Fair enough mate, thanks for the info.

Cheers Andy, going to look at doing the overhead switches next and then onto the climate control.
Have done any of these?

Hi, I recently had the same problem with the heated seats/rear wiper switches.
Following andyb's instructions I fitted some LED's I had acquired years ago for a different car and had never used. I have got them all fitted and they are a nice bright blue! When I get chance later I will upload a pic.
Sorry didn't get back to you Andy to say I had got it done, but this is the first chance I have had to get back on the forum. Many thanks for your help.

I was lucky, mine had fallen off but I found it under the passenger seat.
