  1. A good auto locksmith (not electricain) can program in a 2nd hand remote, I had one done, got it off ebay, and they should be able to cut a key with transponder and code it to the car as well.

They would need the pin number for the car to code in the remote, it's not the radio code.

There is a very good mobile guy near Manchester, but you don't say where you are

    Sorry I am in Cornwall

  2. Hi I have 2005 Grand Voyager with a five button fob as it has electric doors etc ( shaped like the key on my 300 without the blade). I want to know if it is possible to still get a fob as a spare from anywhere or is there another version that will work? Also are the keys chipped? I need a spare key too but have no idea if it is just a case of getting one cut or whether it would need programming too. Any advise would be great please

  3. Hi, I have just joined the group. I have a 2006 Chrysler 300crd & a 2005 Chrysler Grand Voyager CRD

I do a lot of miles as I run the 300 as a chauffeur driven car & the Voyager for family Airport transfers.

I do have an issue that arose last night with the 300 that I would appreciate some help with. The battery light came on at idle and the dash beeped three times then it went off and was fine. Occasionally I have noticed the lights flick ( but thought this was the self levelling suspension moving them). It is now working fine again and I drove 500 miles without a hitch after this happened. Do any of you know why this may happen? Is the alternator on its way out? Any help please

    Thanks Mark
