  1. There could be sensors under the passenger seat  have a look to see if they are being interferred with or even maybe trapped in the runners for the seat?? Just an idea    airbag sensors could be placed here!!  good luck

  2. Try to bump start it/ tow  if it starts chances are the starter motor  get it checked out  Don't try to bump start if it an Automatic

Do you hear the solenoid click when you try to start??   mech should be able to ascertain if the power is getting down to the solenoid on the small wire on the starter?? there is probably a starter relay in the system could be that  check the manual     not normally a fuse in that system  but not sure.

Could also be the ignition switch but a mech worth his salt should be able to sort?

    best of luck!

  3. When you say the dash board lights what do you mean?? If the dash board earth which is the return for all the dashboard warning lights is intermittant it could mean that the lights are being used for the earth return some other system and therefore being illuminated. Check the earth wire for the dash lights Check the back of the dash for a broken track/crack on the reverse of the dash. Just an idea??  make sure the plug onto the dash is secure and the pins are not burnt or damaged,   earth wire is normally black  but not too sure on this car   could be brown   or white  need to check your manual   or google it.  Goog luck   it never easy!!

  4. I have a 1999 Neon 2.0Ltr LX which I have had from new. It is a cracking machine and it is a pleasure to own.

The trouble is getting certain spares for the car is proving to be difficult.

I am having problems locating the backplate for the rear handbrake shoes to be fitted to, i have been online and got two that are supposed to fit the neon but they are not the correct one.

I have tried Chrysler scrap dealers but this has been a non starter as well?

Any help for this dilema would be much appreciated!!

I am sure there is someone out there in Chrysler land that could point me in the right direction.

I hope this is the right place to ask about this problem! as I am new to the forum scene

    Regards
