Yeah but lots of parts cross reference, so why not these...odd?

Having said that even the centre console that fits around the base of the gear stick is different from left to right hand drive cars, so I guess I was lucky lol!

Great stuff Mike and info for us all........... It was the same with the back box on my MA (£30 for a Bravo!)

Ok finally got the car back with a clean bill of health, service and MOT cert...

Here's the vital bit of info for future reference!

Right I ended up cancelling the order for the Eibach Pro's as no-one stocks them, and all come directly from the factory, of which there are none until the end of August!

So I can confirm that Fiat Bravo springs DO fit the Delta PERFECTLY!

I ended up giving my Tech a reg number from a 1.6 and 2.0 (just to be sure) Fiat Bravo from the Autotrader. He then placed an order for 2 front springs at £30 each which arrived the same day. First he measured the existing ride height, then he took the good spring off the car first, and measured them with the Bravo ones, even checking them with a micrometer. Everything matched. They are now on the car...thank **** for that!

Wowsers a Fiat Tempra! Not seen one of those for a while... They even did an estate, which wasn't that pretty either!

If we're going down the 90's boxy saloon route, I'd rather have a wide body 155, at least Tarquinii made them famous for being on two wheels spitting flames around a touring car track!

Yeah probably not worth it to be honest.

4 x Eibach Pro's at £160 is always gonna be better than OEM. 30mm drop, and less nose diving under heavy braking, plus flatter through the twisties… What's not to like! Just hope they arrive on time!

I'd love a Thema Turbo! A real Wolf in Sheeps............... I had both a Giulia GT Junior and a Fulvia Coupe and used to take them to Tanc Barratts outside of Kidderminster. Tanc would pick me up from the Station in his Thema - they were rapid!

I fitted a 20v n/a engine to a local Ford escort rally car, made 220hp on the dyno and sounds amazing, pure Audi Quattro

It can't as it'll be part of the car unless he cuts it out. You wouldn't do that as you'd be stuffed for fitting anything else.

Whereas the scrappies should cut the loom out, then that way you could make a patch cable to plug into your existing loom, if that makes sense?

VIS = Variable Intake System - basically it was just an uprated NA unit. The VT cars are the Turbocharged ones. Early cars were 16V with the 4-cylinder Lampredi Delta engine. The 20V/VT cars were the bespoke 5 cylinder cars - more performance and they sound ace! The LE /Limited Edition cars are steadily rising in value now (shame you could have had mine!) - I'd look out for a 20VT Plus - these are basically the same 20V Turbo cars but with a toned down version of the LE interior (not everyone liked the lipstick red leather!) - a few other cosmetic changes (they have far nicer Recaro seats - same as the LE but just black with red stitching) etc. I'll check out if there's anything around with the Coupe boys...............

Hi Josh and welcome to Delta ownership and rare car status in most countries!

You're quite lucky as in the UK we didn't get the higher spec cars with dual sunroofs or in fact the 1750tbi engine. We only had a choice of the 1.4 multi-air petrol or 1.6/2.0 diesels.

The 1750tbi was however available here in Alfa Romeo, and I had one on a 159 Sportwagon back in 2012. The main thing to watch with that engine is oil quality. Also ignore the recommended service intervals and do an oil and filter change a lot more often, circa 9k miles/12 months. Also when doing your regular fluid level checks, have a sniff at the end of the dipstick. Mine ate 2 turbo's in quick succession before the problem was identified as a couple of leaking injectors diluting the oil with petrol - in the latter stages, the contamination got to 8% petrol after only 6 weeks and 2k miles since the previous oil change. Since then it has become apparent that whilst not affecting every 1750 engine, mine was not exactly an isolated case either.
I know you said the cambelt has been done, but check that the water pump was changed also, because if not and it seizes it can throw the belt and trash the engine.

For gear shifter knobs try Italian eBay...

Tyres I use Avon ZV7's at the moment and have just replaced all 4. Here in the UK they were the cheapest mid-range tyre I could find with low noise and good wet grip. I'm on my second set and they've been good value at around £70 a corner. Obviously tyres is an endless subject and everyone will have their own opinion. The car was supplied with Goodyear Eagle F1's and to be honest the Avon's are just as good, but probably won't last as long.

Mods... Massive subject, but I'd start with handling too. What wheel size are you running 17'' or 18''? As this will make a difference when you start to lower and stiffen up the suspension. For throttle response have a look at a 'Pedal Box' from companies like DTUK. They're plug 'n' play, and seem to work well. As for exhausts I've not looked at on the shelf systems, so haven't a clue what's available if anything. I've always had systems made on the car in stainless steel, so that maybe the way to go...Lastly most intake systems I've used/seen don't make any gains, just make more induction roar. So my advice would be stick to the standard airbox and just replace the filter with something like a K&N.

There's no dedicated area for photo's, just create you own build thread and get posting... We're a bit of the adopted kid syndrome here, as the car clearly isn't a Chrysler, but we have made this little place our home, and seem to get left alone to talk Italian!

No buttton mate - you need to over-type on the web URL/address line.

From that link select/press the Lancia badge as the marque on the right -

Then click on 'Spare Parts' on the left.

Then go up to the address line and overtype Language= 3 instead of 6 and hit return.

The site will then be in English.............

...................either that or ask me for the part number!

Try the connector to the off side sensor, it's the most exposed and can get corroded. Easy to reach via the wheel arch

Yeah, some of the eper links are seen by the virus catchers as file sharing and block them.
That eper is wide open (but for how long?)

The 1st thing I would try is a new reverse light switch.
It should be relatively cheap (budget about 30-40 quid fitted) and check the connections on the connector for water ingress and corrosion
In my experience, Fiat group reverse light switches are notorious for burning out
