Got the hose today, going to do it after work. Was looking at the clip? That holds in the hose on (at the intake side) does that clip pop off or?

Genuinely think my heads been up my arse the past 2 weeks....
So had some peace and quiet to have a good look around, noticed the hose that goes straight into the turbo has a huge cut on it, couldn't see unless I looked at the hose that runs over it was covering it partly.
You know the hose that's like on the right of the oil dipstick is that the intercooler hose? (goes straight into the turbo). -
I found the remap gave better acceleration and better mpg all in all very positive.
I think I've narrowed my problem down to a faulty MAP sensor.
Ive also bought a egr blocking plate (under a tenner so) just incase that is also an issue so will see what's what soon enough.
The car still has a lot of stock parts on it considering it's 10 years old.

I literally couldnt see it from looking..... I blame the heat was 30c in the car even with the door open.
Possibly isolated my problems so far to a faulty MAP sensor... Now I dont suppose you know where its located? -
Looked under the steering wheel and behind the glove box but cannot see it for the life of me?

Hi I have noted a very similar issue when 'tickling' the accelerator to maintain a speed above 50mph or even as low as 30mph. I have read a lot about it.
Unfortunately there are a number of things it could be, injectors, injector/glow wiring harness, MAF sensor, throttle position sensor, throttle, turbo, waste gate, ECU remap... The list is endless, take a look at the forums for Mk5 golf or scoda Octavia, any car with the vw of engine (bkd) there are a few other engine codes similar but ours is ECM according to Chrysler but really it's a bkd..
I have changed a number of parts and still suffer from it, only thing close to a cure I have found so far is to run the engine hard for a few journeys, like you stole it. But after a short while it's back.
If you do find a cure for it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post it in our forum it is a frustrating minor problem people seem to have to settle with...
Good luck!
I'm feeling its like the engine is being starved of fuel, had an issue after changing the fuel filter where the ring that holds it on and the seal broke ..go figure but it was doing very similar thing. I will have a look to see if it is the fuel injector, I have had it remapped but that was 2 years ago and I has never caused an issue. I do feel the car lacks any real kick when the turbo normally kicked in at the moment.

I thought it would have possibly been an issue with the fuel filter so I've changed that and a few months ago replaced the MAF sensor as well. Mpg is fairly low at the moment as well.
Chrysler sebring 2.0.crd 08 plate.
Any ideas of what the problem could be?

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on the 08 Sebring CRD 2.0?

got it done, had a few almighty plumes of black smoke, had a look inside as well, good bit of carbon build up in the center but will give it a good run tomorrow see how it goes.
