  1. So this light came on initially when old battery was close to death. I changed battery and it went off for a day or two, then came on intermittently and is now on permanently. This has been the case for a few months now, car drives fine!

The local Fiat/Alpha main dealer wants £85 to run the diagnostics ....

Has anyone had this issue and resolved it without needing the diagnostic doing.

  2. Thanks for the replies. Diagram is great help!

Having difficulty sifting through google to find reliable fitting parts.

    What is eper?

Re: dog in boot- obviously a guard was/ is in place and the dog is a standard daschund, basically a long terrier no heavier than a bag of shopping!! The whole point of putting him in the boot was to improve safety while driving ;)

  3. We tried our dog in the boot of the car and he managed to chew through both the rear passenger and driver side belts. Have enquired at main dealership who quoted £450.

Has anyone else had to replace a rear seatbelt? Is it a difficult job? There's so many different choices too, unsure which part to get as a whole unit is required rather than a belt replacement...

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  4. This started earlier today. The air bag warning light came on and someone kindly told me the brake lights were permanently on. Unsure if two issues are linked.

Airbag failure light has not shown again.

Have also had the hill start assist fail and associated warning lights showing for a week.

Problems started when the oil change and service lights were not reset by the garage that sold the vehicle.
