It wasn't the garage that broke the McGard tool....I did !
-
Have had a problem the metal plates, inboard of the front brake discs. One of them rusted away around the 3 bolts holding it onto the axle hub and it was replaced by my local garage. Now the 2nd one has done the same but today, when I went to remove the front wheel to see if I could secure the plate until I have to go to the garage, the McGard wheel nut tool sheared off the fancy patterned part that sits in the groove! It was a lot bit tighter than the usual wheel nuts. So now, I can't remove any of my wheels and I will have to drive around with this loose plate knocking on my front brake disc. I hope the Chrysler garage mechanics will be able to remove the wheel

I'm not really a newbie as I've used this site before, but I haven't been on for a while. I've owned my 2008 300C since July 2013 and as I work abroad most of the time, I've not done too many miles in it. It's never given me any problems but lately it has had a few. I'm going to look on some other threads to see if I can find some answers. ?
