Rear washer & driver's door lock

Hi! I've just recently acquired a 2012 Delta. I have 2 questions, if anyone could help me out? Firstly, does the driver's door not fully lock remotely or do I always have to turn the lock with the key? I've accidentally set the alarm off by pulling the handle before pressing the unlock button but in the process I discovered the door opens without me pressing the remote button (hence the alarm going off).

Secondly, is there no rear washer?

Hi, yes the door should lock with the remote.  Likely you've a rod from the solenoid to the lock detached or broken inside the door if you have to do things with the key.

There is a rear washer, you push the RH stalk forwards.  From the column going out along the control stalk you've the large-ish rear wiper control, then the intermittent front speed control (both twist to operate) & then the rear washer push forwards & front washer pull backwards (does sound a little contrary)!
