Rear Leaf Springs- New Anywhere?

Hi All, 

       I have just bought a 2005 Grand Voyager 2.8CRD auto, stow n go, with electric everything. My osr leaf spring has snapped by the look and feel of it. Does anyone know where I can get any new parts for this please? I can find used springs but figured it is better to fit new if I can. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I would expect that if you stay in middle England I might be just a case of their next door or down the road. I'm talking here about getting a spring made in this country, or they might have one in stock, after handing over the old one at the desk. Price is up to you of course. I reconn you may have to double that though for both springs. My Voyager went to breakers with 2 good springs.

The rear springs are really chunky single affairs, it must have taken quite the bang to break! I would just fit a second hand one.

Thanks for your advice. I fitted a second hand one in the end. It was fairly easy and has lasted so far!

Despite 'Hook's Law', springs do wear and matching a worn one with something similar should 'balance' the car far better than a new one, although not as good as 2 new ones would  .
