Question

Hello

I have seen a 1.4 petrol SE for sale with a trader, 65k miles, at £3k. Does that sound a fair price?

Its failed a few MOTs on coil springs, are they a common failure

And what else could be due at 65k miles, clutch, cambelt?

Its got Lancia badges so I presume owned by an enthusiast.

price is decent, can ask for discount as non MOT.  back springs are common problem as they tend to snap.

Will cost  you 150 to get new springs. get eibach lowering springs. that is what I do have on my one.

at 65k you will look to change all....cambelt,oil filters, water pump. my cluch went as well. that was £900 with the flywheel.

so you do your math.....

as I got everything changed in a span of 6 months ,i did not felt it and since then I've done 30k with only front rotors and pads every corner and oil and filters....
