Fiat Porkies?

Question

Brake light switch failing causing stop start/ hill hold warning  lights to come on also flickering brake lights a bit annoying for those behind.

Thought Id try a Fiat dealer even though replacement switch is only around £15.

They appear not to want to touch it, unable to re set diagnostics as Chrysler sometimes have different fault codes!!!!!

Fiat now fully own Chrysler. Have Fiat not received all technical data from Chrysler or at least have access to it?

I was told to go to Jeep...why please?

Same thing happened with my wife's Delta, I just replaced the switch and turned the ignition key on and off 11 times and that cleared the fault!!!

You don't need access to the dealer, always.

Better to find a decent independent or a former Chrysler dealer, I bought her car in Stafford from Arnold Clark trade sales
