Hi guys,

I LIVE IN EDINBURGH UK.

I'm looking for some help. I've owned my 2007 Chrysler 300c for a few years and used it to do the odd wedding and chauffeur work until a couple of years ago.. I left it in storage for a few months, the battery went flat, I fitted a new battery but the three dreaded lights (abs-tcs-esp) appeared on the dash. The dealers wanted to charge me £2000.00 to replace the driveshafts/tone rings assembly's etc which I kindly declined.. A mechanic friend looked at it and said all sensors were reporting ok and to ignore the lights as I only used it occasionally.. Long story short... I needed to make it my regular drive due to loss of my car... it ran fine for a couple of months then I noticed I had no cruise control....then after a few weeks I went to work one morning and the car wouldn't change up through the gears, so I parked it up again and now I need to get it running as my other cars dying..

Has anyone encountered this issue and/or have any ideas how to resolve this?  on my mechanic friends diagnostic machine it comes up wit a U140E which won't clear.. He says It may mean that my ECU needs to be reflashed with the original software due to it being corrupted,

ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED
