Ecu Remapping For The 1.4 Multi Air. Will It Add Any Benefits?

1.4 MAir petrol. Now 9 years old.

I was considering a professional Ecu Remapping?

Question for the experts. Would it add any benefits re: torque, power or fuel economy.

Would the lancia spf3be a particular hazard to mess up with.

I wouldn't touch it, especially with the electric wastegate system (too much to go wrong with devastating consequences)

I was involved with integrales and all chipping did was;

1, blow headgaskets

and

2, ruin a perfectly good car

Remapping is only worth doing on a Diesel IMO

The diesel maps well... I was achieving around 165bhp and a good 30% increase in torque from my 1.6.
