Question

Greetings to all fellow grand voyager owners,as in earlier post i had problems with 62te gearbox the car was stalling at times when comming to full stop and after changing box oil and filter didn't improve this i just gave up as that didn't cause much problems anyway, but yesterday(6 months later) while cruising on m11 i suddenly lost all gears, narrowly escaping lorry behind me managed to roll on hard shoulder.

hours later AA scan tool didn't show any fault codes or whatsoever, which is worst sign for me as i have no clue whats wrong with it or even where to look for problem.

while moving gear selector it shows corresponding gear in a dash range selector, reverse camera comes on and everything is as it should be,but car does not move at all, normally when you shift you can feel slight vibration slight engine rpm drop ect.in short words you can feel when it goes in gear, but i have nothing at all.

Auto box repair garage said it might be torque converter, but it leaves me a bit puzzled as after some research i found that failed T converter should be giving some sounds as it attempts to run and more various signs,as for me there is nothing.

in my opinion there might be some electrical issue.

P.S garage over phone has given me estimate of £2048 even without inspecting it(rip off).

Can someone give me some clue/advice on this issue please.

many thanks in advance.
