New Clutch? Delta

I have a Delta M Jet 1.9   I have noticed that sometimes when idling the car is vibrating.  I thought it not be balanced properly so just had it checked by the garage.  They said it's the clutch & that it would probably start rattling, though could last a while.  Does that sound right?  Any idea how much a new clutch would cost to get & install?  Thanks

It's not the clutch! It IS the flywheel, which is a dual-mass (2 piece) unit, the clutch disc doesn't have take up springs anymore. I am not sure about UK workshop pricing but I would estimate at least 500 quid, as you will have to replace the flywheel, clutch and for reliability sake the clutch slave cylinder.

I had the same problem with a Fiat Marea 1.9 jtd and did over 50k miles after the original (same) diagnosis, until the clutch was worn out, if you can like with the shudder then I wouldn't worry about it being an immediate expense

If it's vibration simply when idling it could be an engine mounting
