Throttle Position Sensor

Hi guys I got a engine light on and got a friend to read the problem and it said it's the throttle position sensor so iv tried to get one but they say the crd engines don't have that sensor only petrol engines do ??? I'm stupoed can anyone she'd some light on this plz as we go away on Friday in the car so I need it running smoothly .thx

The Americans/manual calls it TPP
