I saw these thanks, have contacted the seller to see if they fit our vehicle as in listing compatible models were petrol.

 

Have you changed one of these yourself?  Does the mirror just pop off to get access to push out the broken indicator?

I managed to get it out without taking the mirror off, as i assume you already seen a video on youtube, my one was damaged so was not much hassle. Puting the new one was easier.

 

Note is no difference from petrol to diesel models on these ....

Thank you.

 

Ours needed is driver side the cover lens broken and in turn part of the led lighting gone too.

 

I need to order RIGHT side don't I which is classed as our driver side ?

I replaced mine not long ago. Checked both ebay and amazon for them but they were all quite expensive. So i went to the "stealers" to check their price and i got a better price from them if you include the postage and packing and i could bring them home the same day.

However, they sold me the "dorman" version so its was also som kind of aftermarket product but workes fine. I just disconnected the battery and poured hot water on a pice of paper and sqeesed it in between the lower part of the glass and the lower edge on the mirror casing. Left it for 30 minutes and then i heated the mirror around the edges of the glass using a "hot air" blower. I guess my wifes hair dryer had done the job aswell. Then i got as many fingers as i could on the top of the glass between the glass and the casing and just bent out the glass. Be careful, some versions have cables connected to the backside of the glass so make sure to put them back where they where placed.

Are quite o lot of variations for mirrors... if is convex, grade 1 to 5, on top if heated or not and third if is dimming or not snd if you mix all of this... are a lot of mirrors, but we where talking here about mirror side repeater... some do not have them on the mirror but on the wing...
