Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I'm seeking some help and advise, couple of days ago my alternator gave in on my grand voyager 2.5 I took it to the garage they changed it for £355, I picked her up drove back home and I noticed my car didn't beep when I went into reverse, I thought it was odd so I reversed close to a car and my sensors were not working any longer, I took it back to the garage, and of course they are saying they didn't do anything to the lights, they checked fuses, bulbs, and they realised that there is not power going to the rear lights, so they told me I need to take it to them next week so they can get diagrams, so I told him I brought here to get the alternator changed and you returned it to me with another fault, his reply was we'll not charge you full price, surely I shouldn't have to pay for that, well my question does anyone know how to repair this?, thanks. Hi There!

It could be one of the wierd things that these cars do when they feel like it, possibly a coincidence..........

Mine has done the no rear lights trick to me.

In the fuse box under the bonnet is a "IOD" fuse, Ignition Off Draw, try pulling it out for half an hour to reset the body control module.

Or disconnect the negative lead from the battery.
