Hi,

I have a 2.8 crd Grand Voyager and the boxes are lit around the gear selector display. It appears to be stuck in one gear. This started after the Starter Motor was replaced. Wiring and Relays, etc checked and all ok. Code P0700 cleared and there is a signal from the gearbox. The Transmission Control Module has been changed but this hasn't cured it. There are no reversing lights illuminated and the Parking sensor display shows 4 red Led's. Any help please would be most welcome. Thank you.

P0700 is related Transaxle control system mafunction

possible causes:

-shorted or open circuit with transmission control module

-faulty transmission control module

The TCM being replaced what's left is to check the wiring to it.

A57 in the picture attached is the TCM.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

Thanks for the picture.

I think it's now going through a re-learn procedure as it has started going up through the gears smoothly, but doesn't come back down through the gears, I have to use kickdown. If I stop in 3rd or 4th gear I have to put it into reverse and rev it, then as the revs drop it goes into reverse, then I can put it into drive and it works ok. Is this normal when re-learning, and is there a procedure to help it learn?

I have contacted a main dealer who quoted 1.5 hours @£110 per hour + VAT = £198

Thank you for your help
