Question

Hi I have a 03 voyager took the beastie abroad last year had a hand full of problems the only one I couldn't answer is that coming down a mountain after it had rained proper harsh drop over 20% off high tatras I had rear end go out on me twice first time I corrected it second time I did a 180 degree ended up on other side of road facing other way ? funny now but bun cheeks were clenched , I stopped when it was safe to check car , brakes weren't hot tyre pressure good no abs issues that I was aware of , and I was doing no more that others travelling on the road 30ish kph also have mud snow and ice tyres which should have more grip than standard tyres , I have been acutly a wear that I've had a hint of a twitch since being back again on hills in wet weather any suggestion?

Hi there, do you have the same tyres front and rear? A mis match can make the road holding "interesting".

And not too old, or low tread depth - I mean nowhere near the legal minimum, on winter type tyres it makes a bigger difference as I am lead to believe to do their job they are supposed to be binned at a much deeper tread. It makes sense - shifting water / snow / mud takes depth.

I know lots of people have no clue what tyres are on their cars, all 4 different, and there fine, but then some people turn radios up to make the noises go away too.......

Or a mate of mine who couldn't feel a mis-fire on a 2 cylinder 2 stroke motorcycle?????

Are your rear shocks ok? Not bouncing around, as that will cause lack of road holding and adhesion too.
