Question

Bought a Nov 2008 Grand Voyager but with Engine cover missing

Obtained a 2009 S/H Engine cover - too big does not fit

Obtained a 2006 S/H Engine cover - too big does not fit - both identical

Both are marked '2.8' both only have 3 mounting points - mine has 5

Any ideas where I am going wrong?

Thanks

On the GV rt is not helping with the sound... like making the engine sound quieter... Today i was driving it and i thought is in there only to get home and find that was actually in the garage. over the weekend i will try a db meter test from behind the steering wheel.... i doubt will be 1-2 db quieter... but it looks nicer when bonnet is up and looks like was meant to protect wires etc. I took my one off as the rubbers are aged and i am looking for a solution as i want to avoid the rubbers to perish and rub against something.

I was meaning with the bonnet up, a significant perceived difference. I couldn't vouch for the level from the drivers seat, but it will be interesting, defo.

So then spawntohell, if you'd rather not have it on, and orangecrumble wants one, is there a deal forming??????????

And to add to this, i need to clarify, my one is noisy as it seems is missing some rubber grommets that suppose to go in those mounting points on to the engine studs...
