Delta Windscreen Wipers

Question

Hi

I needed to change the wiper blades on my Delta and struggled to find any.  I bought the ones Euro Car parts said were the right ones and despite there being 8 different fitments, none of them did.  Frigged it in the end but they are clearly not right and the blades themselves keep getting tangled with each other.  Where can I get the correct ones from please?

Eurocarparts do sick the right ones you need valeo car specific ones (although they fit quite a few different cars), however you may well find them cheaper elsewhere. As regard to blades hitting reach other you must make sure that the arms are set when parked to align to the small circles marked in the windscreen or they will hit each other

Funny you should mention wipers. When I first bought my Delta I was determined to keep it all service parts-wise OE. I forked out £30+ for a set of Bosch blades. I was never that impressed with their performance TBH so a couple of years down the line I've just bought these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrysler-Delta-Hatch-ACP-Exact-Specific-Fit-Front-Rear-Wiper-Blades/292181828568?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649     Yes OK they might not be the longest lasting but for less than £11 for all three wipers including postage - they fit pefectly - I changed all in about a minute and so far they are perfectly silent like when the car was new with a great sweep and vision. For that price it wouldn't bother me if they only lasted 18 months....

Thank you.  I can't see any circles on my screen.  Though I do have a replacement screen.  Have to have another look.  Thanks for the advice.

Found the circles!!   The long one on the left (as you look out) is about an inch above the circle.  The short one is much longer than the gap between the circles.  Guess that's why they are colliding!  Thanks

I also have Bosch wipers and am not too impressed either. These are about 10 months old and they do not wipe well directly in my line of vision. MOT is now due so I have ordered a set as mentioned.

I am looking to replace the cabin filter and they did not do it on my last service. Found found this on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mecafilter-ELR7119-Filter-interior-air/dp/B00DJ5W8Q2/ref=sr_1_8?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1520509401&vehicle=20-272-10298-55232-1-0&sr=1-8 ...any comments?

I'm perfectly happy for now with the performance of that ebay set italoafro. As mentioned may not last that long but they fit perfect and seem great. Hardly worth the worry for that price including postage! That looks like the Pollen Filter you need. See http://www.chryslerforum.co.uk/topic/1155-pollen-filter/ for further info.

As per my comments its a bit of a pain to fit. You really have to crumple the thing up to get it in!

I've had hit and miss with those Neil. Some have been fine, others have scraped from day one...

I had the same problem too. Brava / o blades are not a correct fit.

I have fitted Valeo blades ref: VM442

they are about £20ish for the pair and come in the same box.

I am sure a Yahoo search / or Guggle will find a supplier in your area.

I struggled to find any Bosch ones - my preferred option, but was assured that these are of decent quality.

Again - the ones I linked to ebay fit perfectly and I've had no issues with them...........

Hello - indeed I followed your wise advice , but those are the ones that are still knitting themselves - though not all the time.  Another post mentions making sure they are aligned, but I can't see how to align them.  Any advice?

Have you still got the originals?

If so compare the lengths of both blades.

When I bought a Bravo pair - in the same pack, they had put in a 'longer' shorter blade by accident. This was only about 3/4 inch - but sufficient for me to get tangled up on a trip going into wet welsh Wales. Stopped in Abergavenny and replaced on a cold wet Friday or Saturday night.

They are the ebay ones, and are new. I don't have the originals to compare the length unfortunately. When I switch them on, one gets caught the other, then suddenly comes free as they come up, with a big jold and some noise.  Not 100% time though - but it is startling when it happens/
