Orange Liquid From Under Gv

Question

Hi All,

Another cry for help (im loosing my mind with my 2004 2.8 diesel GV)

Went out for a drive this evening, short trip about a mile.  Got back on driveway, got out of GV and heard a high pitched whistle, looked underneath approx middle of vehicle and then there was this whooshing sound and out came this orange liquid all over driveway.

I started up GV and watched the temp gauge, it remained down. I took it for a longer drive along an A road, basically gave it some welly.  Temp gauge stayed normal and car ran fine.

What happened?  Anyone know if this is a killer?  I still have a 10 month warranty with the garage I brought it from and will be calling them tomorrow.

I really hope its not serious.

You can clearly see the two IN/OUT coolant hoses in this pic, Hoat G05, is recommended. When you are done turn the heat full belt to open the matrix and open the water filler bottle let it heat up it will bleed any air and excess water out of the open filler cap. £10 and 10 minutes for the stat mod. You also need the air-damMOD and the batterybuttonMOD for the complete winterising and Best of luck.
