You posted it in 4th generation but what year, model engine as may differ (probably not), but to make sure is under the right section?

The software I use does not show the faults starting with P1 ( I still have to look into getting a different one), however, I do have a "test to button" option.

So if you could tell me some more symptoms or noises coming from the car, would help identify.

Does the engine crank?

does the pump prime?

If is no movement whatsoever ( but relays do make a sound), I would knock the starter motor with a wood stick.

Possible issues for your code below :

P1651-MIL/DIAG LAMP VIA J1850 BUS IN FRAME RESPONSE ERROR

P1651-MIL/DIAG LAMP VIA J1850 BUS STATUS ERROR

Seems there's a few possible causes - ECM, Instrument Cluster, wiring, communication issue.

Thanks guys... Sorry for not giving you more information

It's a 2005 2.8

The car drove perfectly...then the instrument cluster failed..no lights or speedo but drove grand

I changed cluster but still didn't work

I drove the car to a garage to get diagnostic done

I might as well have pissed to the wind cause they were crap

When I went to collect car it wouldn't start

It cranks over very strongly but won't fire up

I got another guy to look at it and that code came up
