Front Parking Sensors?

Evening all, newbie here.

I became the proud owner of a 55 plate Grand Voyager a couple of weeks ago.  Wish i'd done it sooner, unfortunately I was struck by the Land Rover bug (needed a 7 seater) which ended up costing me a small fortune on repair/maintenance.

Anyway, the Voyager is so far so good, but.....

It has fitted, I'm guessing factory fitted as it was a demo car, front parking sensors.  They look original.  I have no idea how to get them to work, I have tried everything I can think of, but there are no lights or buzzers I can see to indicate something in front of the car.

I have gone through the manual and cannot find any reference to front sensors.

Has anybody seen these before?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hiya fella and welcome!

I've never come across a GV with front sensors myself.

An acquaintance of mine fits aftermarket sensors, but they have a switch for the front ones somewhere. Because they can't be connected into the car ecu to detect speed to activate, or deactivate if they were activated by the reverse lights.

Hi, same as bignev, never heard of front parking sensors on a grand voyager.

However, I fitted some front view cameras and to turn them on I fitted a switch, usually on the gearbox lever. Could  be that somewhere is a switch so the driver doesn't get annoyed by them beeping every time the car gets behind another car in traffic?!

Hope it helps
