No Pt Help?

Strangely there is no etc help for the pt on these forum pages? But somebody told me the Neon uses the same steering. System. Mine has gone very stiff,replaced the pump bit better but not perfect cleaned the rack switch no difference the whilst test driving it suddenly worked only to pack up again shortly after. So has anybody suffered the same problem if so what causes it thanks in anticipation
