I looked at few already fitted on...the only thing they do is to acumulate water and eventually rust under the car...

I wouldn't fit them.

Thank you for that useful info.

I still want them, maybe that they may need few holes to be drilled for water to escape.

 

Do you know how much they go for ?

Looks like the problem of standing water has been addressed by using a round profile?

As the consensus states - they gather water and rust the steps & sills. 

 

I removed mine about 2 years ago. Had more or less the same ones in the link below. Fitting was for the most part easy ( slight persuasion to get it all in the orientation necessary) 

 

But still going strong with no rust or other issues.
